RCW Academy
Train to Become a Professional Wrestler
Learn from RCW’s top talent in Adelaide’s premier wrestling academy
Riot City Wrestling trains five nights a week at its official Training Academy, located in Kilkenny, South Australia, providing a structured and high-intensity environment for those looking to step into the world of professional wrestling. The academy has helped develop talent who have gone on to compete on the world stage, including WWE Superstars Rhea Ripley and Zaria.
Tryouts are held twice per year and require a small registration fee. Participation in a tryout does not guarantee acceptance into the Academy; instead, it provides RCW with the opportunity to assess your potential, while also giving you a firsthand experience of the training environment and expectations.
Successful applicants will begin their training focused on developing fundamental skills, conditioning, and overall fitness before progressing to in-ring match work.
The minimum training age is 15. Participants under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
Riot City Wrestling’s Training Academy is equipped with two wrestling rings, allowing trainees to maximise their in-ring time and develop their skills in a professional environment.
In addition to in-ring training, the facility includes a dedicated promo room where trainees can focus on character development, microphone work, and building confidence as performers.
Designed to mirror the demands of live events, the RCW Academy provides a well-rounded training experience that prepares athletes for all aspects of professional wrestling.
