Banjo Powers Wins the RCW Grand Championship at Heavy is the Crown

Banjo Powers has done it.

At Heavy is the Crown 2026, Banjo Powers defeated Dean Brady to capture the RCW Grand Championship for the first time in his career, reaching the top of Riot City Wrestling on one of the biggest nights of the year.

The journey to the championship began on July 11, when Banjo outlasted the field to win the 2026 Riot City Rumble and earn his opportunity at RCW's biggest prize.

Banjo has always done things the HARD way, and his road to the Grand Championship would prove no different.

On August 22 at the Dom Polski Centre, Banjo finally stood across the ring from Dean Brady with the RCW Grand Championship on the line.

But as the battle intensified, it became increasingly clear that Banjo wouldn't only have to overcome the champion.

The Old Guard made their presence felt.

Violet Blitz became involved on behalf of Brady, stacking the odds against the Riot City Rumble winner. But Banjo wasn't alone.

His Party Hard tag team partner, Party Guy Ty, emerged to come to his aid.

Then came Grimm.

Then came “World Class” Chris Basso.

Basso joined the fight against the group that had betrayed and attacked him one year earlier at Heavy is the Crown, and suddenly the RCW Grand Championship match had descended into chaos.

With bodies surrounding ringside and the fight continuing around him, Dean Brady saw his opportunity.

A low blow stopped Banjo in his tracks.

With the challenger down, Brady reached for his baseball bat, looking ready to put an emphatic end to Banjo's championship hopes.

But before Brady could strike, Heavy is the Crown had one final surprise left.

Big Brodie Marshall returned.

Chair in hand, Marshall emerged at the Dom Polski Centre and stepped into the chaos.

Brady turned his attention towards Marshall — and one chair shot changed everything.

With Dean Brady down and the RCW Grand Championship within reach, Banjo Powers had one final opportunity to finish what he started at the Riot City Rumble.

Banjo Powers hits the HARD ENDING.

One. Two. Three.

Banjo Powers had done it.

After winning the Riot City Rumble, after everything The Old Guard had thrown in his path and after surviving the chaos surrounding the biggest match of his career, Banjo Powers had finally reached the summit of Riot City Wrestling.

Banjo has always done things the HARD way. At Heavy is the Crown, the HARD ENDING completed the journey.

For the first time in his career, Banjo Powers is RCW Grand Champion.
