Cadie Tre Returns as Layla Paige's Mystery Partner to Win RCW Tag Team Titles

Nine months after being fired from Riot City Wrestling, Cadie Tre has made a stunning return at Heavy is the Crown — and left as an RCW Tag Team Champion alongside Layla Paige.

Heading into Heavy is the Crown, Paige was left with seemingly impossible odds.

Brody Hunter was originally scheduled to partner with Paige in her challenge against RCW Tag Team Champions C.B.T.M., but a serious ankle injury suffered in an assault outside the RCW Academy ruled him out of the match and required surgery.

That left one major question heading into August 22 at the Dom Polski Centre:

Who would stand alongside Layla Paige?

C.B.T.M. entered Heavy is the Crown seemingly expecting Paige to have nobody in her corner. Instead, they were stunned when her mystery partner was revealed as Cadie Tre.

It marked Cadie's first appearance in Riot City Wrestling in nine months, having last been seen when he was fired from RCW.

Suddenly, the championship match C.B.T.M. thought may never happen was on.

Paige and Cadie took the fight to Vincent Di Maria and Snaxx, with the newly formed pairing looking to end C.B.T.M.'s reign on their very first night together.

In the end, it was Paige who delivered the decisive moment.

Layla Paige pinned Vincent Di Maria to win the match, crowning Layla Paige and Cadie Tre the new RCW Tag Team Champions.

For Paige, the victory marks the first championship of her young career, reaching championship gold remarkably early into her journey in Riot City Wrestling.

For Cadie Tre, his return brought with it another piece of RCW history.

Despite everything Cadie has accomplished throughout his career, the RCW Tag Team Championship had remained one accolade missing from his résumé. Heavy is the Crown changed that.

By capturing his first RCW Tag Team Championship, Cadie Tre officially became a Grand Slam Champion in Riot City Wrestling.

Nine months after being fired, Cadie Tre returned to RCW with championship gold around his waist.

And after suddenly finding herself without a partner just days before Heavy is the Crown, Layla Paige left the Dom Polski Centre with the first championship of her career.
