Three champions. Three dangerous opponents. One huge six-person tag team match.
A blockbuster match has been confirmed for Mean Street Mayhem #67 – Always Believe, as RCW Grand Champion Banjo Powers joins forces with newly crowned RCW Tag Team Champions REDSHAW and James Dalton to take on C.B.T.M. and the returning Ilia.
And with everything that unfolded at Key to the City, there is no shortage of unfinished business.
At Key to the City, Banjo Powers successfully defended the RCW Grand Championship against Punch-Drunk Istria, only to find himself on the receiving end of a shocking attack from a familiar face.
Ilia had returned to Riot City Wrestling after two years away.
Initially appearing to congratulate Banjo on his victory, Ilia quickly revealed his true intentions, delivering a low blow to the Grand Champion and staking his claim to the biggest prize in Riot City Wrestling.
Now, the two will stand on opposite sides of the ring at Mean Street Mayhem #67, as Ilia looks to make another statement against the man he has firmly placed in his sights.
But the RCW Grand Championship isn't the only championship story surrounding this match.
At Key to the City, REDSHAW and James Dalton achieved the biggest victory of their partnership, defeating Layla Paige and Cadie Tre to become the new RCW Tag Team Champions.
After steadily building momentum in the Tag Team Division, the pair now find themselves at the very top, with the opportunity to stand alongside RCW Grand Champion Banjo Powers in a huge six-person encounter.
Standing across from them will be C.B.T.M. — Vincent Di Maria and Snaxx.
The former RCW Tag Team Champions lost their championships to Layla Paige and Cadie Tre at Heavy is the Crown, and now have an opportunity to make their presence felt against the team that has since taken possession of the titles they once held.
And joining C.B.T.M. will be one of Riot City Wrestling's most decorated tag team competitors.
A former multi-time RCW Tag Team Champion, Ilia brings a wealth of championship experience to the contest, but his ambitions now extend well beyond the Tag Team Division.
With his sights set on Banjo Powers and the RCW Grand Championship at Battle for Supremacy XX, Ilia has the opportunity to confront the champion inside the ring once again.
For Banjo Powers, REDSHAW and James Dalton, this is an opportunity to demonstrate exactly why they currently hold the biggest championships in Riot City Wrestling.
For C.B.T.M. and Ilia, it is an opportunity to send a message to three men sitting at the top of RCW.
Six competitors. Three champions. And plenty to prove.
