Banjo Powers has reached the top of Riot City Wrestling, defeating Dean Brady at Heavy is the Crown to capture the RCW Grand Championship for the first time after a chaotic battle at the Dom Polski Centre.

Nine months after being fired from Riot City Wrestling, Cadie Tre made a stunning return as Layla Paige's mystery partner at Heavy is the Crown, with the unlikely pairing defeating C.B.T.M. to become the new RCW Tag Team Champions.

Brody Hunter has been ruled out of this Saturday’s RCW Tag Team Championship match after suffering a serious ankle injury under mysterious circumstances outside the RCW Academy. Hunter has since undergone surgery, leaving Layla Paige without a partner just days before Heavy is the Crown.

The Heavy is the Crown card continues to take shape, with four more matches officially confirmed, including the RCW Tag Team Championship, RCW Grand Championship, a Number One Contender's Match for the Emerald Crown, and the first-ever STREET PARTY FIGHT.

Matt Hayter has touched down in the United States with the RCW Emerald Crown, where he will make history by taking part in the first overseas championship defence in Riot City Wrestling history.
